Luki grew up in Salzburg/ Austria far away from the ocean.

In 2010, a small riverwave was built in the city of Salzburg, which made him pick up a board in 2011.

Surfing became his passion with the first time he stepped on a board.

He started competing and became the first ever Austrian champion in stationary wave riding in 2016.

After winning the Austrian Champs again in 2017 and a couple of more wins and podium finishes in other contests, he decided to stop competing in 2019.

Luki started looking outside the box, shaping his own boards, riding different waves and found another passion. “Hydrofoiling gives me the chance to turn the worst conditions into the best.

Its endless possibilities and the feeling of flying over water is just mindblowing.”

“Getting the most out of every single session” has always been his goal. Today, “the most” is just defined by “the most fun”.
