Styria is a beautiful part of Austria and Schladming is not only well known for being a great ski resort and alpine world cup stopover.

Schladming is also one of Austria´s finest MTB Downhills spots. More than 40.000 bikers visited the Bikepark Schladming and its 35 kilometers of dedicated MTB trails last year and numbers are still growing as the area with its stakeholders are keen to invest even further into this sector.

Now, Schladming was able to welcome some new ambassadors to the region. The MS Mondraker Racing Team, one of the leading UCI Elite Downhill teams, calls Schladming their new home base. The team took the chance to specifically prepare the first World Cup stover in Leogang last week and tested different new bike parts and set-ups. They also will use their new home sometimes during the season to train together but also to take some rest and recover properly between races.

We are very happy to have been able to connect the dots between these two parties and to have started this valuable partnership for both, but also to help growing this exiting sport and industry in Austria.
